WELCOME

I am Mohd Natashah Bin Norizan, an accomplished researcher and educator in electronic engineering and renewable energy. With a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia, in 2008, a Master of Science degree in Microelectronics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia in 2011, a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering in Sustainable Energy and Environmental Engineering from Osaka University, Japan in 2019, and over 10 years of academic experience, I have dedicated my career to understanding and addressing environmental challenges.

Before joining UniMAP, I worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Telekom Malaysia Applied Business. My academic career began with a strong desire to contribute to long-term energy and applied materials science advancements. Throughout my academic career, I have had the honour of publishing numerous peer-reviewed articles and presenting my groundbreaking research at prestigious international conferences. My expertise is in pioneering work in solar cells, nanomaterials, embedded systems, IoT, FPGA, and thermoelectric technologies, all to shape a greener and more sustainable future.

I volunteer with the IEEE Malaysia Section as a Senior Member of IEEE and Vice Chair II of the IEEE Malaysia Section Sensors and Nanotechnology Joint Councils Chapter. I am also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the United Kingdom, the Chartered Engineer Engineering Council in the United Kingdom, an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer, a professional engineer of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) in Malaysia, and a professional technologist of the Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT) in Malaysia.
